Zombies Die Rise - Easter Egg - Maxis and Richtofen Messages

We've been exploring the Die Rise map for just over 24 hours now and can bring you the first two easter egg messages from Maxis and Richtofen. As you probably know, these two characters are always battling against each other and it's usually got something to do with completing the map.

Maxis Message

A little background on Maxis - he's the Nazi scientist who was in charge of the zombie project when things went seriously wrong. He worked closely with Richtofen (his assistant) on the teleportation device and is personally responsible for hell hounds and the zombie plague.

This message is usually heard on round 1 (can only be heard by a particular character).

Message - "The energy fields are no longer disrupting my communications via electrical devices. You will hear me and you should listen"

This presumably means that you don't have to turn on the power to hear any messages from Maxis.

Richtofen Message

Richtofen is also a Nazi scientist who first appeared in the WaW zombies map. He speaks with a very profound German accent and sounds a little crazy. Throughout the Black Ops 2 zombies maps, Richtofen is always battling against Maxis.

You'll hear Richtofen's message once the power has been turned on in Die Rise. Samuel is the only one who can hear Richtofen.

Message - "Vital energy flows through all things, living or dead. My power to manipulate these forces is fragile and limited. That is why I need your help. Domkopf"

Running that word Domkopf through a German translator gives you - fool, idiot or imbecile.

Who exactly Richtofen is referring to is unknown, possibly us but more likely the beast who speaks in the opening cut scenes of Die Rise.

Richtofen Second Message

The sniper gun has a big part to play in the easter egg for Die Rise. Once you obtain a sniper gun, you should hear the following message to Samuel:

Message - "We must neutralize any errant energy fields in order to prevent Maxis from enacting his plan. Take whatever action is necessary to ensure the sources do not fall under his control. If you can find them"

Since this message is only received after you get the sniper gun, one can presume that something needs to be shot using the rifle, and it's probably got an energy or electrical theme to it.

Maxis Second Message

You'll hear a similar message from Maxis when any character obtains a sniper gun:

Message - "You will need the gun you hold in due-time. Ensure you guard it with your life"

How to find the sniper gun?

A sniper gun can be found in the weapons box or alternatively it appears on the wall in one of the higher rooms on the way to the MC Esher room (you may have to purchase a gun on the wall first before it appears in the same place).
