Get a free TechNet Professional Subscription

Microsoft are offering IT professionals the chance to get a free TechNet Professional Subscription. A Technet Professional subscriptions cost $349 and contains software for enterprise wide environments so it's a pretty good offer really.

In order to qualify for the FREE TechNet subscription, you need to register and pass one of the Microsoft Virtualization exams (see below for the exam numbers). This promotion is only valid between March 1st and June 30th 2011 so hurry there are only 1000 free subscriptions to be had.

Just follow these steps to register for the promotion:

1. Register using the Prometric website at:

http://www.prometric.com/microsoft/virtualization

2. Select an exam voucher or exam pack (single or up to 3 exams)

3. Enter your details are usual (address, name etc..)

4. Use your promo code to register for the exam

5. Take the exam and pass it between March 1 and June 30 (see below for exams included in this promo)

6. Sign up and receive your TechNet subscription no later than July 15th
