Trains, Acid Shower, Flaming Boomerang Tomahawks - Mob of the Dead Zombies

Treyarch have just released a 3rd trailer for the new zombies map. The new trailer reveals more secrets including underground trains, flaming boomerang tomahawks, acid traps and the new boss zombie. The trailer also covers the story behind the new characters and how they ended up at Alcatraz.

Let's take a look at the new secrets:

Trains? - Purgatory Ghosts

Now, when you first watch the trailer you probably think you're seeing a train passing by the jail cells right? But on closer inspection it appears that this high speed moving object is in fact a player in purgatory.

Update: Confirmed. Even in purgatory other players can still see your ghost.

Boss Zombie - Guard (Brutus)

The trailer reveals more gameplay footage of the boss zombie - the warden/guard. His truncheon is clearly seen in his hand and he appears much larger (bulkier) than the other zombies. Guessing this guy is going to a take quite a beating!

We know that the boss zombie is called Brutus thanks to the 'Full Lockdown' achievement. To gain this achievement, the player must let Brutus lock down all perk machines and the box.

Fan Trap

The fan trap was shown in the previous trailers but only briefly. In this trailer we can clearly see that the fans extended from the walls and slice off zombies heads. There are two fans and players can crouch below them to avoid being killed.

We also know that traps can be upgraded - helping the player earn the 'Trapped in Time' achievement.

Acid Shower Trap

Another more detailed look at the second trap in Mob of the Dead. The acid shower covers a large area, even the entire room! That traps going to be awesome!

Update: Acid shower trap costs 1000 points and does deal some serious damage to zombies passing under. See video:

Flaming boomerang Tomahawks

Looking just like your regular Tomahawk but burning in flames. These tomahawks cause some serious damage and they even come back to you! However, it's not clear whether the tomahawks come with the flames as standard or if you need to upgrade them.
