Mob of the Dead Zombies - Where to find The Beast? Flaming Dog Head

The flaming dog head is actually called the The Beast in Mob of the Dead and you'll find them in 3 difference places around the map. Check on the walls and you should see dogs heads drawn in red blood.

To make the flaming dog appear you must kill a certain number of zombies near the dogs head. It about 5-6 zombies

Once the dog appears, you can feed him 5-6 zombies by simply killing zombies in close proximity. Once enough zombies are eaten, the dog disappears and a bright red dog symbol is left on the wall. This signifies that the dog is fed and you can move onto the next dogs head.

Dog Locations

There are actually 3 dog locations and a final collection point for Hell's Retriever (Flaming Tomahawk).

The locations are..

Infirmary (near plane part and deadshot daiquiri)
Cell Block (level below Electric Cherry)
Dock (next to entrance to generator room)

The final collection point is in a small room below the prison cells (relatively close to the top of the spiral staircase). Once all 3 dogs are fed the passage opens up revealing the Hell's Retriever weapon.

What does the tomahawk do?

Put simply, Hell's Retriever is the best weapon in Mob of the Dead. It's highly effective and comes with unlimited ammo. It'll collect power ups for your automatically while taking out an entire group of zombies.

The tomahawk is also a key part of the Easter Egg thanks to it's retrieval capability (collecting the blue skulls).
