Black Ops 2 Zombies - How to open the bank vault in Town (5th bus stop)

Once you reach the town (5th bus stop) you'll have the chance to get into the bank and open the vault. It's not as easy as you think and having a friend on standby will certainly help you. Opening the bank vault gives you access to the pack-a-punch machine and gun upgrades.

Where is the bank vault

The bank vault is located in the Town which is at the 5th bus stop. Just jump off the bus through the first set of doors and immediately on your right is the bank. You'll need to pay the fee to open the bank door and gain entry. It's about 750 credits.

How to open the bank vault

Once you're instead the bank, head over to the opposite wall and you'll find the vault door. The door cannot be opened by hand, nor with any tools. Instead just throw a grenade alongside the door and blast it open.

This leads you into the entrance to the bank vault and you'll see the safety deposit boxes along the wall. This is where you can deposit some of your money and your friends (online/local players) can withdraw the money into their own account. Useful if you want to share some credit with team mates who may have died or need to buy a new gun because they've run out of ammo.

At the end of the corridor there is another vault door, just blast it off using the grenade again.

Now you're going to come to a small room with a green electricity sign on the wall. You might remember a similar sign inside the power house from the 4th bus stop. This is the tricky part - it's impossible to open the door without having a turbine at the power house next to the green electricity sign. Online or in multiplayer this is easy because you can get one of your co-op players to place a turbine over there while you wait at the Bank. In single player, it's much harder! You 'll find it incredibly difficult to place a turbine at the power house without it getting destroyed by zombies before you make it back to the Town.

Why open the bank vault

Inside the vault you'll find a workbench that can be used to create the pack-a-punch machine. You'll need the components to build the machine but thankfully all the parts are in the same room.
