Black Ops 2 Zombies - How to complete Tranzit - Tower of Babble Achievement (Maxis)

We've managed to complete the final easter egg in Tranzit (Green Run) - the Tower of Babble achievement. It's taken us a few days to get this far but it's been well worth the journey. Tranzit is one of the hardest zombie maps to complete and you're going to need a few friends to help you out here.

In order to complete Tranzit you're going to need to have 4 players in the game. All 4 of you must build and hold the electric turbine (which is built in the first room). You're also going to need to have EMP grenades.

Location is everything when it comes to this achievement. You're going to need a co-ordinated effort to complete Tranzit. Therefore, it's important that one of you is in the power house to control the power and keep the crawler alive. Two of you must be at the pylon in the crop fields. The 4th member should wait at the diner or town to make life easier later on. Players need to move between locations so leaving a crawler is essential.

Once you've got the turbines and EMP grenades, complete the following tasks in this order:

1. Turn on the power at power house
2. Wait for electric zombie to spawn and leave a crawler (so level doesn't end)
3. Locate the electric pylon in crop field
4. Tempt the electric man to the pylon
5. Turn off the power at power house
6. Place 2 turbines next to the pylon
7. Wait for the strange voice encouraging you to trap the electric man and capture its essence
8. Throw an EMP grenade at the electric zombie
9. Simultaneously place turbine under green light (teleporter) in Town and Diner
10. Achievement Tower of Babble gained!

Walkthrough

We'll guide you through each of these steps..

1. Turn on the power at power house

Hopefully you'll know all about the power house and turning on the power but if you don't, just follow our previous guide. Turning on the power is the only way to make the electric zombie spawn.

2. Wait for electric zombie to spawn

As soon as you turn on the power the electric zombie should spawn. He's easy to identify because he's bright white with sparks flying from his body.

3. Locate the electric pylon in crop field

The electric pylon is located in the crop fields between bus stop 3 and 4 (farm and power house). It's around the same area as the hidden map from WaW.

4. Tempt the electric man to the pylon Black Ops 2 Zombies - Electric Zombie

The tricky part is keeping the electric zombie close to your group so you can lead him towards the pylon. At the same time, try and leave a crawler in a different area of the map with another team member (away from the pylon). This will make it easier to complete the achievement without the electric man getting killed accidently.

5. Turn off the power at power house

Now you need to turn off the power at the power house. The member of your team who is keeping the crawler alive should turn off the power while two of you wait at the pylon.

Once the power is turned off, you should hear a voice saying:

"Not enough power, need additional energy systems"

The guy who turned off the power must now head over to either the town or the diner (depending where the 4th member is). This guy will need to place a turbine soon.

6. Place 2 turbines next to the pylon

The two members of your team who are at the pylon should place 2 turbines close to it.

7. Wait for the strange voice

You should hear the voice say:

"Kill the creature, kill it now! So we can capture its essence"

8. Throw an EMP grenade at the electric zombie

You're almost there now, just aim a nice EMP grenade in the direction of the electric zombie. You'll see him cower on the ground in pain and then shoot up towards the sky.

9. Place turbine under green light (teleporter) in Town and Diner Black Ops 2 Zombies - Turbine

One final step and we've captured the zombie for good. Get one of your team to place an electric turbine under the green light in the Town and another player to place a turbine under the green light in the Diner. They must be placed simultaneously just after the EMP kills the electric zombie.

10. Tower of babble achievement gained Black Ops 2 Zombies - Tower of babble

That's it! You've gained the Tower of Babble achievement and completed Tranzit Green Run! Congratulations because that is one hell of co-ordinated achievement.

Now all you need to do is replay the map and complete it using the alternate story..
