Black Ops 2 Zombies - How to build the riot shield

The riot shield is the second craftable item from the zombies Green Run map. It can be built at the second bus stop inside the blueprint room. The shield is both an aggressive and tactical weapon which can be used to charge zombies or form a defensive barrier.

How to build the riot shield?

You'll have to find each of the 3 items and the blue print room first. Once you leave the bus (through the front door). Head over the car garage which is in the corner of the map. Inside the room you'll see the weapon box and the blue print on the far wall of the room.

The first two items are in the room adjacent to this room (where the car is parked). The items are next to the wall on the right of the room. Remember you can only hold 1 item at a time, so pick up each and head over the blue print and use the item (blue X button on Xbox controller).

The 3rd item needed to create the riot shield is in another building which is locked, you'll need 750 points to get in there. Kill some more zombies to rack up some points and head over to the other building which is a restaurant (diner). The building is located to the right hand side of where the bus parked up. Go behind the bar area and along the side of the counter, against the wall, you'll find the larger part of the riot shield.

Head back to the blue print room and finish constructing the shield.

What is the riot shield used for?

You can use the shield to either charge zombies - just hold the shield and run at the zombies. Or alternatively, you can place the shield and use it as a defensive wall. Zombies are stupid enough to attack the shield before they attack you which gives you a great opportunity to pick them off.

The shield can be destroyed though so make sure you take out the zombies before they do too much damage.
