Treyarch have published the official trailer for DLC4 Apocalypse and it gives us a solid insight into the new zombies map "Origins". We can clearly see the dieselpunk robots for the first time along with a new BOSS zombie with yellow eyes and dieselpunk suit of armour.

Final Trailer (26th August)
Recent secrets revealed..
Features..Elemental Staffs - Fire, Water, Air, Lightning
Revealed in the final trailer, the
Elemental Staffs are the new wonder weapons and there's 4 variations. Each Staff gives you a different superpower, be it fire, water, air or lightning.
The Staffs are your best option for killing the new boss zombie (Panzer Soldier).
Dynamic Weather
Snow, rain and fog will all affect gameplay on the new zombies map making the dynamics of the game more challenging.
Dieselpunk BOSS Zombie - 'Panzer Soldier'
The new BOSS zombie was shown in the trailer and he's a kind of an astronaut come mechanical zombie. He's got glowing yellow eyes and his head is encased in a deep-sea diver's helmet.
The achievements list reveals that the BOSS zombie is actually called the 'panzer soldier'. Freeing yourself and one other from his claws will earn you the 'Kung Fu Grip' achievement. See
achievements list.
MG08 Machine Gun
The map features two new era specific weapons, the first of which is the MG08 Machine Gun. A very large and high powered machine gun, with similar capabilities to the LSAT.
Mauser Pistol
The second new weapon is the new starting pistol (Mauser) which we previously saw in teaser images from Treyarch. As it's the starting weapon, don't expect this pistol to be too powerful but it might at least get the map moving a little quicker.
Zombie Tank
A new defendable platform that you can use to move around the map. Think the bus from TranZit and you're half way there. This sucker's got more armour though and you're quite literally standing on top of it rather than hiding inside it.
Giant Robots
The first clear sight of the new dieselpunk robot was shown in the trailer, and yes it's pretty dam huge and it does look exactly like Pacific Rim. Treyarch revealed that the robot is both a hazard and a help - providing opportunities for the skilled player.
We're guessing that the robot is going to open blocked pathways in a similar manner to Leroy from Buried - no sweets required this time!
Nacht der? Untoten
The trailer shows a very short, but recognizable area of Nacht der? Untoten. Possibly an easter egg but maybe a playable part of Origins after all.
Playable Locations
- Trenches
- Labratory
- Catheral
- Nacht der? Untoten (maybe)
