Black Ops 2 Origins Cinematic Trailer - Samantha, New Axe and Sword Weapons

Treyarch have released the cinematic trailer for Black Ops 2 Origins and it's got some new exclusive details hidden inside. Thanks to the trailer we know that Origins contains a new Axe weapon and Samurai Sword. The zombies map also contains secret ruins and the zombie knight boss below ground. Samantha will also be making a return to tell the truth..

Trailer

Set in Northern France 1918, Origins tells the story of the beginning of Maxis and Richtofen and their attempt to harness dark and mysterious forces. Buried for centuries they believed their discoveries would help in Germany's victory. However, they couldn't have imagined what else their research would unearth.

Axe Weapon

The new axe, as demonstrated by Nikolai could be either a craftable weapon or a bonus like the tomahawk. The axe allows you to literally chop zombies in half vertically. Instant death with this weapon is going to make the knife seem primitive. You can also throw the axe like a tomahawk.

Samurai Sword

Demonstrated by Tajkeo, the samurai sword is just as deadly as the axe. With a single blow its goodbye zombie! You can decapitate or slice as you prefer to fend off the zombie hordes.

Pump Stations

There are several Pump Stations on the map together with several values which presumably need to be turned to activate the Pump Station. We’re guessing that the excavation site is linked to the pumps and only after activating all of them can you go down into the ruins and find the boss zombie.

Blimp Airship - Pack-a-Punch

There’s been a lot of speculation on the location of the pack-a-punch in Origins and the trailer gives some solid clues to its location. In the first 10 seconds we clearly see the giant blimp airship in the skies above the trenches. Teleportation was rife in the early zombie maps so it’s probably going to be a teleport onto the ship, PaP and back again.

Headless Zombie

The secret image of the zombie on the operating table was first seen in the previous trailer for Origins but is again included in the cinematic.

We see the characters walking up and inspecting the body so presumably this has something to do with the Easter Egg.
