Yogscast go into hiding after Minecraft community backlash

minecraftThe Yogscast have gone into hiding after an embarrassing series of events at Minecon at the weekend. Including the attempt to write f you on a kids autograph and a series of unfunny backstabs at Notch.
If you're a Minecraft fan, you'll probably have heard that The Yogscast were totally out of order at Minecon. There were reports that they acted like spoilt kids and even attempted to write f you on a kids autograph in front of the parents. Minecon was
supposed to be a family friendly event and the average age of a Minecraft player is about 13!
Notch has taken to twitter to inform his followers of his side of the story. He stated that:
- Yogscast wanted to write f you on a kids autograph
- Yogscast claim they are the reason for Minecrafts success
- Yogscast called Mojang a bunch of nerds
Now, have you seen the interview with Notch from Minecon? Those guys from Yogscast aren't a million miles away from nerds!! See below:

Well, since the public statement by Notch, Yogscast have taken their entire website offline to prevent a backlash. Their usually busy Twitter feed has gone silent and we're told that an official statement is at least 24 hours away.
This hasn't stopped a large number of Notch supporters coming out to voice their opinion on Twitter and YouTube.
