Yogscast may have gone their separate ways after falling out with Notch during Minecon 2011, but the release of the new documentary (Minecraft: The Story of Mojang) just goes to show that Yogscast were arguably the first (and best) Minecraft gaming channel to appear on YouTube.
Forget your Mr Sparklez and Game Chap channels, Simon and Lewis gave us endless hours of entertainment, dating right back to the early Alpha versions of the game in 2010
Yogscast are certainly not the only highlight from the documentary, there are dozens of nostalgic moments including Notch's feelings towards losing control of Minecraft and the company growing in size. We get to see his ex-wife and even the first glimpse of Jeb before he made it to become the leader of Minecraft development.
The entire documentary was funded by a Kickstarter project and a lot of thanks goes to the guys who funded this, and of course to the production company
2 Player Productions for creating a perfect memory of Notch and Minecraft.
