World in a Box Survival Map for Minecraft - Survive in an Ant farm!

If you ever want a change from the open ended aspect of Minecraft then survival maps make for a refreshing challenge. This World in a Box map is exactly as it sounds - you're trapped in a small box and need to survive.

World in a Box is similar in some ways to the classic Survival Island map. Those that have played Survival Island will remember that you had to use the limited resources and space on the island to survive. The twist with this World in a Box map is that you're really in an enclosed box that's only 5 blocks deep. Imagine being a fish in a tank or an ant in an ant farm and you start to understand what life's going to be like! Thankfully, there's plenty of vertical space to use, including an above ground area with a house and tree. There's also an underground mine and hidden resources to use.

Rules

As with all survival maps there are rules to follow:

You can only stay inside the boundaries of the box
Play on normal (or higher) difficulty setting
Do not use other mods to cheat

This map does sound a bit of a gimmick but it does have a refreshing feel to it. The limited space makes spawning animals tricky and building your farm requires some intelligent use of space. There are no challenges or puzzles to solve (hence the survival nature) but this map is well worth a try.
