Wikileaks website not working? Wikileaks.org domain is gone but IP still accessible

The highly popular and much criticised leaks website, wikileaks.org, has had its domain name deleted by the domain registrar everydns.net. However, the server which is running the wikileaks website is still up and running. Given that IP addresses are easily reversible and traceable, it probably won't be long before the computer running that site is taken down too.
If you're still trying to view the wikileaks website then there are hundreds of posts on twitter revealing the IP address of the website. Just copy the IP address into your web browser and the wikileaks website will load as normal. However, as mentioned above..if the wikileaks website has to move to other servers to avoid the authorities then the IP address will of course change. We're guessing that Twitter free speech users will provide the most up to date IP address via its real time message system.
Where is Julian Assange?
We'd all love to know this one, especially the Americans. Put simply, we just don't know where he is. There was speculation that he was in the UK, probably hiding in the snow somewhere but its more than likely that he's taken save heaven in a neutral country such as Switzerland.
International police (Interpol) are hunting for Julian Assange (who is the founder of wikileaks). If they track down his server, it won't be long before they either find the where abouts of Julian or simply take the whole operation offline – i.e. no more wikileaks.
What's going to happen to wikileaks?
Although wikileaks will cease to exists, we already know that wikileaks material has gone underground with most of the archive material already existing on several other websites. I don't think we've seen the last of these high profile leaks and it's probably just the beginning of something much bigger!
Update: 11am 03/12/2010: Wikileaks up and running again via Pirate Party in Switzerland. New website address is wikileaks.ch
