Official Minecraft Lego Project gains over 5000 supporters at Cuusoo

The official Lego Project endorsed by Mojang has already gained over 5000 supporters, half way to achieving the number of supporters required for an official review by Lego staff.

Cuusoo is the new Beta website from Lego where anyone can post a project that they would like turned into an official Lego product. The idea is simple. Get 10,000 supporters for your project and the Lego team will personally review your idea. If successful, the project becomes and product and the new Lego genre hits the shelves.

Not many projects actually take off. But Minecraft Lego is different, it's the perfect complement to the fun block building game. It's a case of 'when' rather than 'if' the Lego project receives the required 10,000 supporters. If successful, Minecraft Lego would be available to buy in 2012 along with other famous Lego genres such as Lego Batman, Lego Harry Potter and Lego Pirates.
