New Ghost Woman Boss - Black Ops 2 Zombies Buried Map

The Buried zombies map contains the first female antagonist in the Black Ops Zombies series. The woman is a ghost who inhabits the 'old west' ghost town. Treyarch revealed the ghost theme in their pre-production photos from a real ghost town in Calico which they used to base their Buried map on.

About the ghost woman

Unlike the other zombies who suffer from a slow walking speed by shuffling their feet, this female ghost floats smoothly across the surface. You can be sure that obstacles aren't going to get in her way and she's going to be similar to the zombie scientist from Five.

As with all boss zombies, she's going to be destructive so expect to lose your perks, guns, health or a combination of the above.

Confirmed: The ghost woman will try to kill you and she steals points.

How to find the Ghost Woman and Ghost Mansion

The Ghost Woman lives in the mansion and you'll need to remove a barrier in the church yard before you can get access to the mansion door. Follow these steps..

1. Free the boss zombie (Leroy the giant zombie)

Free Leroy from the jail cell and use the first (free) booze container to let him out of the sheriffs office.

2. Get more booze from the saloon

Either wait for the round to end and get a free booze can from the Saloon OR you can buy another booze can for 1000 points from the Saloon till.

3. Guide Leroy the side of the Candy shop

Make sure he's facing away from the candy shop and give him the booze. He should break through the barrier outside the candy shop giving you access to the church yard.

4. Get more booze

One more booze can and we can break through to the mansion. So repeat step 2 above and get more booze from the saloon.

5. Break barrier to Ghost Mansion

Lead Leroy to the church yard, make sure he's facing the opposite way to the barrier and give him the booze. He should break through the barrier and you're into the Mansion grounds.

6. Open the Mansion Door

Pay the points required (1250) and you're into the mansion. As soon as you step through the door, the Ghost Woman is going to chase you so get ready!!

Killing the Ghost Woman

The Ghost Woman is fairly easy to kill, if you've got a bit of patience. Depending what round your on, there might be one ghost or there could be several.

Shooting the Ghost Woman will make her disappear but this doesn't mean she's been killed. You must repeatedly kill her before she finally dies. Successfully killing the Ghost Woman will give you a free perk drop.

Finding the maze

Once you've made it to the mansion you're almost at the maze. Just follow the route round through the bedroom and down to the large tree. This is the start of the maze.

The maze is a randomly spawned layout so it's never going to be the same. Just stay away from the Ghost Woman and explore the maze. At the end of the maze is the pack-a-punch machine and a dead end!
