helloI'm sure most of you will be pleased with the Coloured Glass as its long been on the wanted list. Coming in a variety of colours including brown, purple, blue, yellow, green, pink, red and black - the glass is going to be a great additional for those who love to create beautiful architectures.
Let's face it, ordinary glass just isn't what it used to be - it doesn't add anything to structures but this new Tinted Glass will!
Stained Glass - Crafting Recipe
The new Stained Glass blocks are created by mixing Glass Blocks and a particular dye. Just surround the crafting grid with Glass Blocks and plop your coloured dye in the middle to make the Stained Glass of your choosing:
As you probably know glass panes are made from glass blocks. Using the crafting table you can combine 6 glass blocks to create glass panes. In the image below, you can see that you can also combine Stained Glass blocks to created Stained Glass panes too:
The new glass panes can be joined together, even if they are different colours.
Server Icons
Dinnerbone has added custom server icons to the multiplayer menu, shown in the image below:
How to create your own server icon?Server administrators can create their own icons by following these guidelines. You simply need a 32x32 image which is in png format. The filename must be called server-icon.png.
You can create png files with most image editing software including Photoshop and even Microsoft's default Paint program.
Once you've created your PNG icon, just copy the file to your server directory and replace any existing icon file.
Now anyone trying to browse for servers should see your new icon in the multiplayer menu.
