Minecraft 1.1 Released - Find Out What's New
Posted in
minecraftJeb and Jon (from mojang) have been working hard fixing bugs and developing exciting new features for us. Version 1.1 of Minecraft is another big release which includes new bow enchantments, new golden apple recipe, more languages and so much more.
It's been a tough time for Jeb these past few weeks. He's been trying to get through the endless list of bugs. That's not much fun I can tell you. Thanks to Jeb's determination, he's managed to fix enough to warrant an official release for Minecraft.
Version 1.1 contains some really nice additions as well as fixing some of the more annoying bugs we all encounter. The illusive golden apple (which was almost sacred in Minecraft because it was impossible to obtain without hacking) is now a lot easier to craft. The most wanted bug in Minecraft, the ladder bug, has been fixed!! That's worth celebrating on its own!!
What's new in Minecraft 1.1
- Players can now use Bow Enchantments
- Golden Apple recipe has been changed, it's a lot easier to craft
