minecraftThe new version of MCPE is due out on 8th November and it comes with some exclusive features. Only playable on the app version of Minecraft, the Nether Reactor makes its first appearance along with the alternate nether.
How to create The Nether Reactor?
The Nether Reactor is like a portal in the sense that it's not just a simple crafting recipe but a complete construction. To create the Nether Reactor you will need the following resources:
- 3 x diamonds
- 6 x iron ingots
- 4 x gold blocks
- Cobblestone
1. First you need to build the core of the reactor using the diamonds and iron ingots.
2. Then you build the frame around the reactor core using the rest of the materials (gold and cobblestone).
3. Finally, you strike/press the core of the reactor to activate it!

What does the Nether Reactor do?
The reactor is like a portal that provides a teleportation system for zombies. You'll notice that as soon as you activate the reactor, the game goes very dark and lots of zombies will suddenly appear. Be prepared because you won't survive very long!!
