minecraftThe new Minecraft snapshot (12w08) is ready to download now. 12w08 comes with a brand new mob (Golem) who will protect villagers and their villages, better lighting system and upside down stairs.
It's been a busy weekend for Jeb and the rest of Mojang during the Mojam charity event. That hasn't stopped them getting a new Minecraft snapshot ready for us bang on time though. 12w08 comes with some great new features including a brand new mob!
New 'Golem' mob
There's nothing better than a snapshot that comes with a new mob is there?! 12w08 comes with the new Golem mob. He's a friend of the villagers and will do anything to protect them. He can throw zombies around like rag dolls so watch out!
Although not officially named, there are two version of this mob:
