CaptainSparklez preferred at Minecon 2012 as Yogscast are banned

minecraftYogscast were banned from hosting a panel at Minecon 2012 this year. They haven't posted any YouTube videos from the Minecon event in Paris and remained quiet on the subject for the entire weekend. Instead, it was CaptainSparklez who took to the stage and impressed fans with his gangnam style dance with Lydia Winters.
It looks like the Yogscast may have really upset Notch at last years Minecon event and that would explain their absence this year. There wasn't even a mention of the dynamic duo of Simon and Lewis during the 2 day event in Disney Land, Paris.
Fans were instead treated to a full half hour with the increasingly popular CaptainSparklez who dazzled fans with his gangnam style dance and backflip (which almost went wrong). CaptainSparklez is doing really well on YouTube these days. His channel has over 2 million subscribers (only 500K behind Yogscast) and his recent gangnam style parody video has notched up 26 million views in just over a month.
On the contrary, the Yogscast are still dishing out their regular Tekkit videos, which roll in a million viewers every week or so. They're not doing badly either but missing out on Minecon will surely have damaged their reputation as one of the best Minecraft video producers and commentators.
Maybe it was there behaviour at Minecon 2011 that caused so much controversy or is it their recent attempts to rip off Minecraft with a game or their own (Yogventures)? In the end, only they know what they've done wrong..
Listen to Notch talking about Yogscast earlier in 2012..
