Black Ops 2 Zombies Buried Map - New BOSS Zombie

The Black Ops 2 Buried map comes with another new boss zombie. This villain is locked inside a jail cell, possibly the sheriff's office, and he's either going to be good or bad - we don't know for sure. Treyarch teased that the boss zombie may help you kill other zombies.

How to release the boss zombie

Like Brutus from Mob of the Dead, this boss zombie is locked away and something needs to be triggered to release him. In Mob of the Dead, it was unlocking too may perk machines or using the mystery box too many times.

In Buried, the boss zombie is released by using the jail cell key. The key needs to be used each time you want to free the boss zombie, and it's always in a new location each time he's freed.

As with all classic zombie maps, turning on the power usually triggers something whether its lifts as in Die Rise, or doors as in Tranzit. In Buried the power is not needed to open the cell.

The boss zombie is much larger than the player (2nd trailer shows he's 3 times bigger than the player) and we're guessing that you'll need to keep your distance from him whilst he slays zombies in his path. As this guy's a villain, he's probably got no allegiance to you.

Feeding the giant

The 2nd trailer for Buried revels that the boss zombie must be fed to keep him happy. He lets the player know he's hungry by simulating eating with his hands.



You must feed sweets to the giant zombie which can be bought at random locations on the map.

When you feed the giant sweets, he will become aggressive towards zombies and kill them for you.

Feeding the giant booze/alcohol

Using the booze will enrage the boss zombie causing him to knock through barriers, thus opening new areas of the map for you. He cannot unlock doors.
