Treyarch have released an official trailer for DLC 4 "Apocalypse" and it's the biggest reveal yet for DLC4. The trailer shows small clips from a collection of the original zombies maps from Black Ops 1 and World at War, together with a new zombies map ("Origins") with giant mechanical robots.
The DLC4 pack is titled "Apocalypse" and as usual it comes with 4 multiplayer maps and a single zombie map called "Origins".
4 Multiplayer Maps:- Pod - abandoned cliff side
- Takeoff - rocket launch site in the middle of Pacific Ocean
- Frost - snow-capped European city
- Dig - the courtyard map from WaW gets a redesign
Zombies Map:Titled "Origins", the zombies map is described as a Dieselpunk themed First World War map.
The trailer begins with "Every story has a beginning" and finishes with "..and an end" at which point we're shown the giant robots and the new zombies map to be included in DLC4. This of course signifies the end of the zombies story.

DLC4 Apocalypse Release Date
The new message of the day on XBox revealed that DLC4 will be released on the 27th August, the last Tuesday of the month. Expected release time is 11am (GMT).
Hidden Frames / Images
Dissecting the trailer we've found several hidden frames. The most interesting of these is the zombie strapped to the table - possibly a hint at the first infected zombie. It appears to be a kind of operating table with a saw by the side.
The zombies is missing his left hand and half of his head.
All zombies maps
During the trailer we can see most of the original maps from Black Ops but also maps from the World at War game which is where the zombies story all began. Starting from Moon, Treyarch work back to Nacht der Untoten.
Update: Although Treyarch included scenes from all the old maps, they will
not be included in DLC4. It turns out that Treyarch simply included them to show how the story is going full circle back to the original outbreak of Element 115.

It's official then, all the original characters will be returning. You'll notice how young the characters look in the trailer too..
Giant zombies
The final part of the trailer is the most interesting because of course its for the new map..the final map for Black Ops 2 zombies. Although only short, the clip shows us the immense size of the mechanical robots which can quite literally step on you. Imagine transformers or Pacific Rim and you've got a pretty good idea.
